My name is Alyssa Ascher, I am a sophomore Pre-Music Therapy Major with a concentration in Percussion at Moravian College. I graduated from Souderton Area High School with the class of 2012. There I participated in the Big Red Marching Band and Mirage Indoor Drumline for all four years. I am currently marching my second year with the Moravian College Greyhound Marching Band. Although I'm not planning on marching with any indoor lines this year, I did march with the independent group, Quick Fire percussion last winter. It's been a dream of mine since 9th grade to march in a drum and bugle corps, and now seems like the best time since I've grown experience wise and I only have two more years until I age out and am unable to march in a DCI corps. Any purchase or donation made means so much and helps us to reach our goal of marching with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle corps for the 2014 season.
Hi, my name is Emily Brands. I am a Sophomore Music Education major with a concentration in Classical Piano at Moravian College. In 2012 I graduated from Bangor Area High School and there I participated in almost every musical ensemble there was, including the Bangor Slater Marching Band all 4 years on trombone. I am currently marching my second year with the Moravian College Greyhound Marching Band and also marched with the Indoor Quick Fire Percussion ensemble. I love marching band and I would love to have the opportunity to march with a Drum and Bugle Corps for the last two years that I am able to. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and any money that goes towards that opportunity is very much appreciated. Thank you!
We are two people with a goal to raise enough money to march Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps for the summer of 2014. In order to do that we've started a small business selling pillows out of recycled t-shirts. 100% of the profit goes towards helping us reach our goal. Our pillows range from Drum Corps themed, to high schools, to sports teams and we're expanding our collection every day. Any support is greatly appreciated!
